Szeged entrance exam past papers and sample tests

The University of Szeged does not publish past papers of its entrance exam. Its Entrance / Evaluation Examination page links four sample tests, one per subject, and the official topic list. The samples show the format but come without answers. This page explains what each one is, and where to find full-length practice with answers in the same format.

In short

  • No past papers: the exam page offers a topic list and sample tests, and neither is a past exam.
  • Four sample tests as free PDFs: Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Physics, 20 questions each, with no answer key.
  • The Physics sample is the 2022 edition. The other three print no year; their files date from November 2024.

Why there are no Szeged past papers

The written test is taken online on Coospace, Szeged's testing platform, in sessions from January to June. None of Szeged's admission pages offers a past exam: what the Entrance / Evaluation Examination page links is the topic list and one sample test per subject.

So anything sold as 'real Szeged questions' does not come from the University. Prepare for the topics on its list and for the format of its samples.

The English sample tells you to copy your answers to an answer sheet. The real test is on screen, one question at a time, so do not take the paper layout as the exam's.

The Biology, Chemistry and English samples together have the real paper's shape, 20 questions each; the Physics sample stands in for Chemistry. The exam page says each question has '4-5 choices', which matches them.

Full-length practice with answers

Szeged's samples have no answer key, so you can sit them but not mark them without working each answer out yourself. And on paper, nothing stops you going back, which the real test does.

    For Szeged's own samples, check every answer against the recommended reading before you count it. On IvyTest's paper, read each explanation.

Questions

Does the University of Szeged publish past papers?

No. Its Entrance / Evaluation Examination page links four sample tests and the Entrance Examination Topics, but no past exams.

Where are the Szeged sample tests?

On Szeged's Entrance / Evaluation Examination page, under 'Sample tests': Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Physics, each a free PDF of 20 questions.

Do the Szeged sample tests have answers?

No. None of the four comes with an answer key. IvyTest's free Szeged sample test, in the same format, explains every answer and can be saved as a PDF.

Is the Szeged Physics sample test current?

It is the only Physics sample Szeged links, and it is the 2022 edition. Szeged does not say whether a newer one is planned, so use it for the format and the official topic list for the content.
