- 14.4
On Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma's 2026/27 lists for Medicine and Surgery in English, the 84th and last EU place on the provisional ranking scored 48.2 out of 60. As places were turned down, calls went down that list to the 216th candidate, at 38.8, and then down the final ranking, which kept only candidates with an accepted English certificate: its 31st call, for enrolment on 22 and 23 October 2026, reached the 147th, at 32.2. On the non-EU list the 36th place scored 52.0 and the 24th movement reached the 130th, at 42.0. MedTech's EU list was called to its last row, at 14.4, and closed on 4 September.
In short
- Medicine and Surgery, EU: the 84th and last place on the provisional ranking scored 48.2 out of 60; by October 2026 calls had reached the 147th on the final ranking, at 32.2, and the list was still moving.
- The final ranking is not the provisional one. It keeps the 82 candidates who had enrolled and the 147 eligible candidates who had not yet been called but had an accepted English certificate by 19 June 2026, so its 147th had been 307th on the provisional ranking.
- Most of the first places were turned down: only 24 of the 84 provisional winners enrolled, and the calls had gone down to the provisional 216th, at 38.8, before the certificate deadline.
- Non-EU candidates, ranked on their own list after an online test, scored higher: a median of 43.9 against 37.2, a 36th place at 52.0, and calls that had reached 42.0 (the 130th) by October.
- MedTech, ranked from the same written test, went much further: its EU list was called to the last of its 87 rows, at 14.4, and its non-EU list to the 43rd of 44, at 13.8; a separate test in October filled its remaining EU places.

Everything here comes from Campus Bio-Medico's own documents: seven ranking decrees (476 EU and 214 non-EU candidates for Medicine and Surgery, 167 EU and 44 non-EU for MedTech, the two final rankings and MedTech's remaining-places ranking) and the scrolling notices on its admissions pages, read on 21 October 2026. No candidate's code is reproduced.
This covers the two six-year medical degrees Campus Bio-Medico teaches in English in Rome, Medicine and Surgery and Medicine and Surgery "MedTech", each with an EU call and a separate call for non-EU citizens resident abroad. It does not cover the Italian-taught Medicina e Chirurgia, which has its own test and ranking.
Campus Bio-Medico cut-off scores 2026: where each list stopped
One written test, sat in Rome on 19 February 2026, ranks both English-taught courses, each on its own list: 84 EU places for Medicine and Surgery and 68 for MedTech. Non-EU citizens resident abroad apply through separate calls, with an online test on 6 February 2026, for 36 and 12 places. Every list ranks by score out of 60 and lists as eligible only candidates who reached the minimum. Each is read at two points: its last place in the first round, and the furthest position a notice has opened since, as places were turned down.
| 2026/27 | Places | Ranked | Last place, first round | Furthest call | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Medicine and Surgery, EU | 84 | 476 | 84th, 48.2 | 147th on the final list, 32.2 | Still moving |
| Medicine and Surgery, Non-EU | 36 | 214 | 36th, 52.0 | 130th, 42.0 | Still moving |
| MedTech, EU | 68 | 167 | 68th, 42.8 | 87th on the final list, 14.4 | Closed 4 September 2026 |
| MedTech, Non-EU | 12 | 44 | 12th, 45.6 | 43rd, 13.8 | Closed 7 August 2026 |
Scores out of 60: +1 for a correct answer, −0.2 for a wrong one, 0 for a blank; 12 is the minimum on the EU lists. The first round is the provisional ranking for the EU lists. A call opens a place to a position; it does not say the candidate took it.
From 476 to 229: the final ranking and the English certificate
The EU lists have two stages. The provisional ranking of 25 February 2026 named the first 84 candidates winners, who could enrol from 2 to 10 March; places they left were then offered further down by calls on the admissions page, ten of them between 13 March and 22 May, which reached the 216th candidate. English at B2 has to be proved with a certificate from the call's list, and the deadline to upload one was 19 June 2026. The final ranking of 24 June keeps only the 82 candidates who had enrolled by then and the 147 eligible candidates, not yet called, who had an accepted certificate. The other 108 eligible candidates beyond the 216th are not on it.
So positions on the two lists are not the same thing. Only 24 of the 84 provisional winners are among those who enrolled; the first on the final ranking had been 19th, and the 147th, reached in October, had been 307th. The table shows where each final position stood on the provisional ranking.
| Final ranking | Score | Position on the provisional ranking |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 53.0 | 19th |
| 50th | 42.8 | 162nd |
| 82nd | 38.8 | 215th |
| 83rd | 38.6 | 217th |
| 100th | 37.2 | 238th |
| 130th | 34.2 | 280th |
| 143rd | 32.8 | 300th |
| 147th | 32.2 | 307th |
| 229th | 12.0 | 471st |
The two lists were matched by each candidate's anonymous code, which both print with the same score. Positions 1 to 82 of the final ranking are marked enrolled (phase I); only the positions are reproduced here.
Medicine and Surgery's three lists, position by position
Plotted against position, the non-EU list starts highest, its 36th place at 52.0 against 51.4 for the EU provisional 36th, and falls below the larger EU list from about the 50th: a smaller field runs out of high scores sooner, even with the higher median. The final ranking sits below both, because its strongest candidates had already enrolled, or left, before it was drawn up. The provisional ranking's 84th scored 48.2 and its last call, the 216th, 38.8; the final ranking's calls began at the 83rd, at 38.6, and reached the 147th, at 32.2.

The calls, 2026/27
Campus Bio-Medico offers the places left free by publishing calls (scorrimenti) on each course's admissions page, normally on Tuesdays and Fridays, each giving the candidates named about a day, from 12:00 to 12:00, to enrol. The EU Medicine and Surgery page lists every call of the year; the non-EU pages show only the latest, so for them these are the ones IvyTest read.

How the 2026 scores were spread
The non-EU candidates, who sat an online test with remote monitoring on 6 February, scored higher than the EU field across the board: a median of 43.9 against 37.2 on the EU provisional ranking, and 102 of 214 at 45 or more against 131 of 476. The EU final ranking is lower again, because it no longer holds the candidates who had already enrolled or left. Nearly every candidate cleared the minimum: 5 of 476 on the EU provisional ranking fell below 12, and 2 of 214 on the non-EU list were marked not eligible.

MedTech: the same test, a list that ran out
MedTech, Campus Bio-Medico's second English-taught degree in Medicine and Surgery, ranks the same written test on a list of its own, for candidates who registered for it separately; 121 EU candidates are on both provisional rankings, with the same score. Its 68th and last provisional place scored 42.8. As on the Medicine list, most winners went elsewhere: only 26 of the 68 enrolled, and the 67 who had by June came from as far down as the 141st. The final ranking of 87 was then called to its last row, at 14.4, and the page declared the calls closed on 4 September 2026: every eligible candidate left on it had been offered a place.
The places still free went to a separate written test in Rome on 16 October 2026. Its notice announced 4 places, which could rise; the ranking of 20 October lists 13 candidates and names 5 winners, from 54.0 down to 47.6, to enrol by 27 October. On the non-EU side all 44 MedTech candidates are also on the non-EU Medicine list; the 12th and last place scored 45.6, and the 6th movement, for enrolment from 3 to 7 August, reached the 43rd of 44, at 13.8, before the movements ended.
| 2026/27 | Places | Ranked | Last place, first round | Furthest call |

| EU, provisional ranking | 68 | 167 | 68th, 42.8 | — |
| EU, final ranking | — | 87 | — | 87th, 14.4 |
| Non-EU | 12 | 44 | 12th, 45.6 | 43rd, 13.8 |
| EU, remaining places (16 October) | 4 | 13 | 5th, 47.6 | — |
Ties at the boundary
Scores move in steps of 0.2, and ties sit on the lines. The provisional 84th place shared 48.2 with positions 83 to 86, so two candidates with the winners' score were not winners; the 31st call reached the 147th, the last of three at 32.2 (145 to 147), and the next candidate has 32.0. On the non-EU list the 36th place shared 52.0 with the 37th, and the 24th movement stopped at the 130th, the last of three at 42.0.
The call orders equal scores by the Biology questions first, then Chemistry, then Mathematics (which the test does not include), and finally the younger candidate. A headline score alone does not say which side of the line a candidate fell on.
Is 32.2 the Campus Bio-Medico cut-off?
Not as a final figure. It is the score at the furthest position a call has opened on the EU final ranking, for enrolment on 22 and 23 October 2026, and the list may still move; the same holds for 42.0 on the non-EU list. Campus Bio-Medico marks who enrolled in the first phase on its final ranking, but does not publish the last score actually admitted after that.
What the lists do settle is the shape of 2026/27: a place in the first round took 48.2 on the EU provisional ranking and 52.0 on the non-EU list, and candidates well below both still received offers as places were turned down, down to 32.2 and 42.0 by October.
What this means for a 2027 applicant
Campus Bio-Medico had not published its 2027/28 calls for Medicine and Surgery or MedTech on 21 October 2026. In 2026/27 the test was 60 questions in 100 minutes, entirely in English: 20 each in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, five options each, scored +1, −0.2 and 0, with at least 12 needed to be ranked. If the format holds, a place in the first round took about 48 for Medicine and Surgery and 43 for MedTech, and the lists then went much further.
Two things matter as much as the score. The English certificate: without an accepted one by the deadline a candidate is left off the final ranking, however high they scored. And registering for both courses: each needs its own registration and fee, and a candidate on both lists keeps two chances from one test.
Questions
What is the Campus Bio-Medico cut-off score for Medicine in English?
In 2026/27 the 84th and last EU place on the provisional ranking for Medicine and Surgery scored 48.2 out of 60. As places were turned down, calls reached 38.8 on that list and then 32.2 on the final ranking (the 147th, for enrolment on 22 and 23 October 2026). The non-EU list's 36th place scored 52.0, and its calls had reached 42.0.
What is the minimum score for Campus Bio-Medico?
To be ranked as eligible, 12 out of 60 on the EU lists; on the 2026/27 non-EU list the lowest score marked eligible was 10.4. A place takes far more: see the cut-offs above.
Why is the final ranking shorter than the provisional one?
Because it keeps only the candidates who had already enrolled and the eligible candidates, not yet called, who had uploaded an accepted English certificate by 19 June 2026: 229 of the 476 on the provisional ranking.
What was the MedTech cut-off in 2026?
The 68th and last place on the EU provisional ranking scored 42.8 out of 60. The final ranking was then called to its last row, at 14.4, and closed on 4 September 2026; a separate test in October filled the places still free, its 5th and last winner at 47.6.
How many people apply to Campus Bio-Medico medicine in English?
The 2026/27 lists rank 476 EU and 214 non-EU candidates for Medicine and Surgery, and 167 EU and 44 non-EU for MedTech, for 84, 36, 68 and 12 places. Many are on both courses' lists: 522 EU candidates are ranked in all.
Does Campus Bio-Medico publish who was admitted?
No names: the lists show anonymous codes and scores. The final rankings mark which codes enrolled in the first phase, and the calls say which positions may enrol, not who did.
Method
Every list was read in full from the decrees on Campus Bio-Medico's admissions pages: each row's position and score, checked to run from the first to the last position without a gap and in descending order. The final rankings were matched to the provisional ones by the anonymous code each candidate keeps on every list, to find each final position's place on the provisional ranking; every matched code carries the same score on both. The same codes, with the same scores, show which candidates are on both courses' lists, and the count of candidates ranked counts each one once. The calls were read on the admissions pages on 21 October 2026.
The page shows counts, positions, bands and calls only; candidate codes are not reproduced.
