Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of IvyTest products and services. Please read these carefully before making a purchase.

1. Who we are

Roberto GalassoVia Maestri Campionesi 9, 20135 Milano (MI), ItalyVAT number (Partita IVA): 04950970162Email: [email protected]

IvyTest (theivytest.com) provides online preparation for the admission exams of European medical schools. It is operated from Italy.

IvyTest is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the universities, ministries or exam bodies it covers. Their names and marks belong to them and are used only to say which exam a product prepares for. Each university alone decides who is admitted.

Payments are handled by Stripe Managed Payments: Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe affiliate ("Link"), is the merchant of record for every order. Link runs the checkout, takes your payment, issues your receipt and invoice in its own name ("Sold through Link"), and calculates, collects and pays the VAT due. Link is not the seller: the operator named in the Legal notice sells and provides everything you buy here. Your card statement shows LINK.COM*. Link's own payment terms, which you see at checkout, govern the payment; these terms govern your IvyTest account, what you buy and your use of it.

2. Using IvyTest

By creating an account or using IvyTest you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.

You need to be at least 14 to create an account. Purchases are for adults: if you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase or authorise it.

Your account is for you alone. Keep your password private and do not share your access with anyone else.

3. What you buy

Each purchase is one university's Complete Admissions System: its online study guide and exam simulator, flashcards, application help and Jade, our AI study assistant, plus a video course and interview practice where that university has them. The university's page lists exactly what its purchase includes. It covers that one university only.

Access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed and lasts 12 months from the date of purchase. It is a one-time payment: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Everything is online, through your IvyTest account. The study guide is read in your browser; it is not a download or a printed book.

Some tools are free, such as the MedChance diagnostic and the public demo. They are offered as they are and may change.

4. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days from the purchase to withdraw without giving a reason. To withdraw, tell us at [email protected] with your order number, or contact Link support (support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link). Any refund is paid by Link to the payment method you used.

In addition, Link may refund a purchase within 60 days under its own refund policy (support.link.com/questions/sold-through-link-refunds), for example if you did not receive what you bought, it is significantly not as described, or the payment was not authorised. Where that policy gives you more than these terms, it applies.

Digital content is an exception: if you ask for access to start straight away, expressly agree to it and acknowledge that you then lose the right of withdrawal, the right ends once access begins. Where that consent was not given, your 14 days apply in full.

Separately, if a technical problem stops you using what you bought, email us at [email protected] and we will fix it. If we can't, you are entitled to a refund (see section 5).

5. Legal guarantee of conformity

We must supply the content and services you buy in conformity with what was described and for the whole 12 months of access, as the Italian Consumer Code requires for digital content (articles 135-octies and following).

If something does not work as described, tell us. We will bring it into conformity free of charge within a reasonable time. If we can't, or don't, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or, where the problem is not minor, end the contract and get your money back.

6. Your licence and our content

All IvyTest content, including the study guides, questions, explanations, videos and design, belongs to IvyTest or its licensors and is protected by copyright.

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own study during your access period. You may not copy, share, resell, publish or scrape it, or give anyone else access to your account.

If you seriously breach these terms, for example by sharing your account or distributing our content, we may suspend or close your account. Unless the breach makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you a chance to stop.

7. AI features

Jade and the interview simulator are AI systems: their answers are generated automatically, not written by a person. They can be wrong. Check anything important against the study guide or the official sources.

They are study aids, not medical, legal or admissions advice. Do not enter other people's personal data into them.

8. Estimates and results

MedChance, the Study Path and the analytics give estimates based on your answers and on published or estimated admission data. They are guidance, not predictions you can rely on.

We work hard to prepare you well, but we can't guarantee any score, place or admission. Admission decisions belong to each university.

9. Liability

We are responsible for supplying what you bought as described. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or that come from causes outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), for death or personal injury, or any right you have as a consumer that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Changes

We may update these terms, for example to reflect new features or changes in the law. The new version applies to purchases made after it is published.

For a purchase you have already made, we will only change the terms or the content for a valid reason, tell you in advance, and never at extra cost to you. If a change materially harms your access to what you bought, you can end the contract within 30 days and receive a refund for the time remaining.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.

If you are a consumer, any dispute goes to the courts of the place where you live, as Italian law requires. You can also use an out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body; we are happy to try to settle any issue with you directly first.

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.

12. Invite friends (referral programme)

Once you have bought a university, you get a personal invite link and code on your Account page. A friend who uses it gets the discount shown there (10% at launch) on their first purchase. It applies to an account that has never bought before, is not added to a multi-university discount (the larger one applies), and you cannot use your own code.

For each friend who buys with your link or code, you can choose one university's Complete Admissions System free for 12 months, up to the number shown on your Account page (two at launch). It is the same as buying that university, for that university only.

A free university can be claimed 14 days after your friend's purchase, and only while that purchase has not been refunded or reversed. A code stops giving its discount once it has earned the maximum number of free universities.

Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. If the programme is abused, for example with fake or duplicate accounts, we may cancel the rewards involved. We may change or end the programme for the future; rewards already earned are kept.
