The UniCamillus test is marked out of 90: 1.5 points for a right answer, minus 0.25 for a wrong one, nothing for a blank. Your total decides three things: whether you are admitted, eligible or not eligible; where you rank; and, science by science, whether you start the degree with an extra training obligation. This page explains each rule as the 2026/27 calls set it, and how the minimum has changed from year to year.
In short
- Score = 1.5 × correct − 0.25 × wrong. Sixty correct answers give the maximum of 90.
- Candidates within the round's places are admitted; those with at least 9 points are eligible and can be admitted if places free up; below 9 a candidate can never enrol in that round.
- The minimum is set by each call and has changed: 20 points in the first 2025/26 call, 15% of 90 (13.5) in the next three, 10% of 90 (9) in every 2026/27 call.
- The EU ranking is not published as a list: each candidate checks their own result with the submission code. Non-EU candidates are scored out of 120 on a different test.
How the score is counted
Every question counts the same, whatever its section. The examples are IvyTest's arithmetic on the call's rule.
| Example | Right · wrong · blank | Score out of 90 |
|---|---|---|
| Just at the minimum | 6 · 0 · 54 | 6 × 1.5 = 9 |
| A middling paper | 40 · 12 · 8 | 60 − 3 = 57 |
| A strong paper | 50 · 10 · 0 | 75 − 2.5 = 72.5 |
| Every answer a blind guess | about 12 · 48 · 0 | 18 − 12 = 6 on average |
A blind guess among five options is worth 0.2 × 1.5 − 0.8 × 0.25 = +0.10 on average, so guessing is slightly favourable; ruling out one option makes it +0.19. But a whole paper of guesses averages about 6 points, below the minimum of 9.
Admitted, eligible, not eligible
Results go up on UniCamillus's website a few days after the test (by 25 November for the test of 19 November 2026). Each candidate looks up their own with the submission code issued at registration; publication counts as official notice.
01
Admitted
Your rank falls within the places of the call. You must enrol and pay by the call's deadline (13:00 on 2 December 2026 in the November round) or lose the place.
02
Eligible
You scored at least 10% of 90, that is 9 points, but ranked below the places. You become admitted only if a 'sliding' notice reaches your position.
03
Not eligible
Under 9 points. The call says you cannot enrol 'under any circumstances', even if places are left after sliding.
04
Sliding
Places left by those who do not enrol are offered down the ranking by notices on the Admission Calls page. Whoever is reached must enrol and pay by 13:00 on the second working day after the notice; it repeats until the places are filled.
The minimum score, call by call
UniCamillus sets the minimum in each call, and it has fallen twice in two years. The 2027/28 calls will set their own.
| Calls (English course, EU) | Minimum to be eligible | In points |
|---|---|---|
| RD 692, first 2025/26 round (test 6 March 2025) | 20 points | 20 |
| RD 144, 424 and 544, later 2025/26 rounds | 15% of the maximum (90) | 13.5 |
| RD 52, 193, 473 and 639, all 2026/27 rounds | 10% of the maximum (90) | 9 |
The 2025/26 test also had a different split: 15 logic, 10 each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, 5 Mathematics and 10 humanitarian questions. The Italian-course calls of 2026/27 use the same 9-point minimum.
OFA, ties and campus choices
- OFA: enrolled students who answered fewer than 9 of the 15 Biology, Chemistry or Physics questions correctly take an Additional Training Obligation in that subject: a specific course before its exam, within the first year. It does not stop you enrolling.
- The OFA counts correct answers, not points: a wrong answer and a blank both count as not correct. In 2025/26, with 10 questions per science, the threshold was 6 of 10.
- Ties: the higher score on the 5 humanitarian questions wins; if still tied, the younger candidate.
- Italian course only: you are ranked only for the campuses you chose at registration, in order. Admitted to your first choice, the others are cancelled; admitted to another, you can ask at enrolment to move to one of the campuses you chose if places free up.
Questions
What is the minimum score for UniCamillus?
In 2026/27, 9 points out of 90 (10% of the maximum) to be eligible. It is a floor, not a pass mark: a place depends on your rank. Earlier calls set 20 points and then 13.5, so check the 2027/28 call when it is out.
What score do you need to get into UniCamillus?
UniCamillus does not publish one. The EU results are not released as a list, only to each candidate by code, so no EU cut-off can be read; how far each round goes depends on places and candidates that round.
What is an OFA at UniCamillus?
An Additional Training Obligation (Obbligo Formativo Aggiuntivo). With fewer than 9 correct answers out of 15 in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, you enrol but must follow a course in that subject before its exam, within the first year.
How does UniCamillus break ties?
On the EU test, by the score on the 5 humanitarian-mission questions, then in favour of the younger candidate. On the non-EU route, by the oral score, then the younger candidate.
