The UniCamillus admission test is not sat in Rome. Candidates take it at home, on their own computer, watched by remote proctors through the webcam and a phone placed behind them. The test is prepared and run by Selexi Srl, the company the calls appoint. This page sets out what the 2026/27 calls require: the equipment, the technical check in the days before, the test-day procedure and the rules that lead to exclusion.

In short

  • You need a Windows, Linux or Mac computer with webcam and microphone, Google Chrome, a connection of at least 1.5 Mbps both ways, and a smartphone or tablet with a camera.
  • From the third day before the test, an email from convocazioni@ilmiotest.it explains the technical check: a Chrome proctoring plugin on the computer and an app on the phone.
  • On the day you film your room, show your ID, then sit 60 questions in 60 minutes with only two blank sheets and a pen.
  • No other person, device, book, earphones or toilet break: each is grounds for exclusion. A failing connection is the candidate's responsibility.

What you need at home

ItemWhat the call requires
ComputerA PC with Windows 8 or later or Linux, or a Mac with macOS 10.14 or later, with a webcam and a microphone. No second screen, keyboard or mouse.
BrowserGoogle Chrome, version 81 or later, is mandatory, with the proctoring plugin installed during the check.
ConnectionAt least 1.5 Mbps upload and download. Wi-Fi is recommended by the call.
Phone or tabletAndroid 4.1 or later or iOS 8 or later, with a camera and the proctoring app (about 34 MB). A tablet can replace the phone, never the computer.
RoomWell lit, closed, with nobody else in it, for the whole test.
On the deskTwo sheets of blank paper and a pen, shown to the proctor during identification. Nothing else.

The call warns that passing the technical check on equipment below these minimums does not guarantee that you can sit the test.

In the days before

  1. 01

    Watch for the first email

From the third day before the test, convocazioni@ilmiotest.it writes to the address you registered with. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder, then write to that address to ask for it again.

  2. 02

    Run the 'check requirements'

Install the Proctor Exam plugin in Chrome and the Proctor Exam app on your phone, then test the computer's audio, microphone and webcam, the phone's camera and the internet connection.

  3. 03

    Keep the second email

After the check a second email gives the exam link, your date and time, and the credentials to view your test once results are out. Save it.

  4. 04

    Rehearse the room

IvyTest's advice: set up the desk, the phone stand behind you and the charger the day before, and sit a timed practice paper exactly that way.

On test day

  1. 01

    Connect on time

Log in at the time in your email. Anyone who connects after the identification phase, or has no valid ID, is not admitted; absence after identification counts as withdrawal.

  2. 02

Film the room and place the phone

Record your workstation and the room, then put the phone on charge behind you so it films the area throughout.

  3. 03

    Identification

Show your ID to the webcam and photograph it, then take a photo of your face in the frame. You then wait, reading the instructions, until everyone is identified.

  4. 04

Sit the test and close it properly

Click 'Start test' when the committee authorises it. At the end click 'Close test', then the blue 'Finish Exam' button. A live chat is there for technical problems.

What gets a candidate excluded

The call lists eight grounds for exclusion during the test, and adds that the committee may exclude a candidate at any time if the connection prevents proper monitoring.

  • A poorly lit room, or any other person in it, or any interaction with others.
  • Earphones, earplugs, smartphones used other than as the proctoring camera, smartwatches, calculators or glasses with a camera.
  • Any other application, browser or web page, and any book, notes or handouts.
  • Leaving the room for any reason, toilet breaks included.
  • Candidates with a disability or a specific learning disorder can ask for aids or extra time (30% more for learning disorders) by certified email to dsa.unicamillus@pec.it by the registration deadline.

Questions

Is the UniCamillus admission test online?

Yes. The 2026/27 calls set a home-based test on a remote-surveillance platform, prepared and supervised by Selexi Srl. Candidates sit it on their own computer, wherever they live.

Can I use a calculator in the UniCamillus test?

No. Calculators are among the grounds for exclusion. You may use two sheets of blank paper and a pen for calculations, checked by the proctor during identification.

Can I take the UniCamillus test on a tablet?

Not instead of a computer. The call allows a tablet only in place of the smartphone that films you from behind; the test itself runs in Chrome on a Windows, Linux or Mac computer.

What happens if my internet connection drops?

The call puts the connection entirely on the candidate: a malfunction that compromises the test is the candidate's responsibility, and the committee may exclude anyone it cannot monitor. The 2026/27 calls describe no make-up session.
