San Raffaele past papers and the official UniSR simulator

Checked against Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele's official pages on 27 October 2026. UniSR had not published its 2027/28 Calls on 27 October 2026; every rule and date quoted is from the 2026/27 Calls, which apply to 2026/27 only.

Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (UniSR) does not publish past papers or a downloadable sample test of its International MD Program admission test. Its questions are its own property, drawn at random from a database. What UniSR offers instead is a paid Online Simulator built from its historic question database. This page explains what the simulator gives you, what else UniSR offers and does not, and where to find a full paper you can sit for free.

In short

  • No past papers: the Calls say the questions are UniSR's property, managed by a third party and drawn at random from a database.
  • The official Online Simulator runs full simulations with the real timing: €20 by card for three, €5 for each one after. Each ends with a report by section and the correct answers, and none can be downloaded.
  • UniSR publishes no syllabus. Its samples on the same pages are for the MSc in Biotechnology, not for medicine.
  • IvyTest's free practice paper has 60 questions in the real 36 + 24 split, every answer explained. It is not an official UniSR paper.

Why there are no San Raffaele past papers

Both 2026/27 Calls (Art. 5) say the test's questions are the property of Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, managed by a third party and drawn at random from a database. The Italian Call adds that for each session at least three distinct papers are prepared, balanced across the types of question, and one is drawn by computer at the start of the session.

UniSR does not publish those papers afterwards. Candidates see their own corrected test in the Online Review after the second session, but the Calls do not mention a copy, and none appears on UniSR's pages.

What the official Online Simulator gives you

  • Full simulations of the IMDP test, with the real timing and the questions specified by the Call, drawn at random from UniSR's own historic question database.
  • €20 by credit card for the first three simulations, then €5 for each one after that.
  • No pause: the clock runs and the test closes on its own at the end of the time allowed.
  • At the end, a report by section and the correct answers, so you can see what to revise.
  • Online only: the tests cannot be downloaded. The simulator needs its own registration, separate from registering for the test. Problems go to sim@unisr.it.

The Italian version of the simulator page also mentions a free 20-question demo. It does not say which test the demo covers, and its login page said on 27 October 2026 that the service was "temporarily suspended" for an update, so IvyTest has not seen it.

What else UniSR offers, and what it does not

  • No syllabus: the simulator page says none is available and sets the science at the level of a student finishing high school.
  • Preparation courses, online with live lessons. In English the page still describes the 2025/26 IMDP courses; in Italian it describes the 2026/27 courses for UniSR's health-area degrees.
  • Entrance-exam samples for the MSc in Biotechnology for Innovative Therapeutics only. They are not samples of the medicine test.
  • A practice app UniSR sponsors for its Italian-taught admission tests. Its English page says it is available only in Italian.

A free full paper in the same format

IvyTest's free practice paper is written to the format of the 2026/27 Calls: 60 questions for 80 minutes, 36 on logic, problem solving and reading comprehension and 24 on the sciences, scored +1, −0.25 and 0, all in English. Every question has its answer and a full explanation, and the paper can be saved as a PDF with the answers.

The Calls state neither the number of answer options nor how the 24 science questions divide, so the paper uses IvyTest's own five-option format and six questions each of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, and says so. Every question was written for it; none comes from UniSR's database. It is not an official UniSR paper.

Questions

Are there San Raffaele IMDP past papers?

No. UniSR publishes no past papers and no downloadable sample test: the questions are its property and drawn at random from a database. Its paid Online Simulator draws on its historic question database, online only.

How much does the UniSR Online Simulator cost?

€20 by credit card for the first three simulations, then €5 for each additional one. Each runs with the real timing, cannot be paused, and ends with a report by section and the correct answers.

Is there a free San Raffaele sample test?

Not as a download. UniSR's Italian simulator page mentions a free 20-question demo, without saying which test it covers. IvyTest's practice paper is a free full 60-question paper in the IMDP format, with every answer explained; it is not official.

Can I download a San Raffaele test PDF?

Not from UniSR: its simulator page says the tests can only be taken online. IvyTest's practice paper can be saved as a PDF with its answers.

Practise in the real format

The free practice paper has 60 questions in the format of the 2026/27 Calls, 36 on logic, problem solving and reading comprehension and 24 on Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, to sit in 80 minutes with the +1, −0.25 and 0 scoring, every answer explained. It uses IvyTest's five-option format, as the Calls do not state the number of options. When you want more, the IvyTest San Raffaele package adds a full simulator, the study guide and lessons.
