Campus Bio-Medico admission test dates for 2027: call and deadlines

Checked against the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma's official pages on 27 October 2026. UCBM had not published its 2027/28 call for Medicine and Surgery and MedTech on 27 October 2026; every rule and date quoted is from the 2026/27 calls, which apply to 2026/27 only.

The Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM) has not published its 2027/28 call for Medicine and Surgery and MedTech yet, so the 2027 test date is not set. What is known is the 2026/27 pattern: a call dated 28 October 2025, registration from the next day to early February, one test in Rome in February, a provisional ranking within days and places offered down the list for months after. This page gives that timeline in full for EU and non-EU candidates, and will carry the 2027 dates once the call is out.

In short

  • On 27 October 2026 UCBM's admissions index, in English and in Italian, listed only 2026/27 procedures for Medicine and Surgery and MedTech. 2027/28 appeared only for three bachelor's summer-school sessions in other subjects.
  • In 2026/27 EU and equivalent candidates registered from 29 October 2025 to 6 February 2026 (13:00 CET) and sat the test in person in Rome on 19 February 2026.
  • Non-EU citizens resident abroad had their own call: registration from 1 December 2025 to 28 January 2026 (13:00 CET) and an online test on 6 February 2026 at 14:00 CET.
  • Places freed by winners who did not enrol were still being offered in late October 2026: the 32nd EU call reached position 150 of the final ranking, with enrolment on 26 and 27 October.

What is known about the 2027 test

On 27 October 2026 the Medicine entries on UCBM's degree-course admissions page were all for 2026/2027: the English-taught Medicine and Surgery and MedTech for EU and for non-EU candidates, MedTech's remaining places and a non-EU reallocation, and the Italian-taught Medicina e Chirurgia. No 2027/28 call, test date or fee for Medicine was published.

So every date on this page is from the 2026/27 calls, which cover 2026/27 only. The 2027/28 call may change the date, the places, the fee or the format. For reference, the 2026/27 EU call is a Rector's Decree of 28 October 2025, and registration opened on 29 October 2025.

MUR's D.M. 1005 of 6 August 2026 confirmed the places: 84 EU and equivalent plus 36 non-EU for Medicine and Surgery, 68 plus 12 for MedTech.

Registering: one platform, one fee per degree

  • Registration is only online, on UCBM's test registration portal, in four steps: create your credentials, confirm them from the email, fill in the application, pay the fee by credit card. It counts only once the payment confirmation arrives, and it cannot be changed after that.
  • Even candidates who registered in an earlier year must register again.
  • To compete for both Medicine and Surgery and MedTech you make two separate registrations and pay the fee twice; you still sit one test, and you are ranked on each list.
  • Upload your English certificate (B2, from Annex B) before paying. Without one you may still sit the test, marked with an asterisk, and upload it later within the call's window.
  • The portal asks for your citizenship and sends you to the platform for EU and equivalent candidates or the one for non-EU candidates resident abroad.

The call says notices on the competition page count as official notification: checking them is the candidate's responsibility.

After the test: the list keeps moving

In 2026/27 the provisional Medicine and Surgery ranking named 84 winners, who enrolled in March. Places they left were offered in ranking order by numbered calls, each giving a window of about a day to enrol. The 32nd call (notice of 23 October 2026) reached positions 148 to 150 of the final ranking, with enrolment from 12:00 on 26 October to 12:00 on 27 October 2026.

The non-EU list moved the same way: its 25th movement called positions 131 and 134, with enrolment from 26 to 30 October 2026. MedTech's EU list was called to its last row and declared closed on 4 September 2026; UCBM then held a separate test for MedTech's remaining places in Rome on 16 October 2026, with registration from 15 September to 12 October.

When is the Campus Bio-Medico admission test in 2027?

Not announced yet: UCBM had not published the 2027/28 call on 27 October 2026. In the 2026/27 cycle EU and equivalent candidates sat it on 19 February 2026 in Rome, and non-EU candidates resident abroad online on 6 February 2026.

When does registration for the Campus Bio-Medico test open?

For 2026/27 it opened on 29 October 2025, the day after the call was signed, and closed at 13:00 CET on 6 February 2026 for EU and equivalent candidates. The non-EU window ran from 1 December 2025 to 28 January 2026. The 2027/28 dates come with the next call.

When is the Campus Bio-Medico ranking published?

The 2026/27 call set the provisional ranking for 27 February 2026 at the latest; the Medicine and Surgery one is dated 25 February. The final ranking, limited to candidates with a valid English certificate, was due by 3 July and is dated 24 June 2026.

Can I sit the Campus Bio-Medico test in my last year of school?

Yes. The 2026/27 call was open to candidates who already had a school-leaving qualification and to those obtaining it in 2025/26. You need the diploma to enrol, not to sit the test.
