Admission open for 2027/28: dates and weighting
The university has opened admission for 2027/28 and published a new brochure and contents document on 15 October 2026. There are two in-person sittings at the Bormujos campus (Seville): the first hands out up to 70% of pre-admissions, and if you sit both the higher mark counts.

The admission grade is 60% your 1º de Bachillerato (or higher vocational course) average and 40% the tests, split Biology 35%, Chemistry 25%, English 20% and Reasoning and ethics 20%, plus up to 2 extra points. That is a change from 2026/27, when the exam weighed 35% and English 5%. There are also 3 places for health-science graduates and 3 for transfers, without the exam and with an interview.

The degree page offers 120 places, taught in Spanish. That is the current figure in Spain's university register (RUCT), which records a substantial modification from 18 June 2026: the first verification in 2025 was for 60 places. The degree began in 2025/26, so it has no graduates yet.
Curriculum
The Medicine curriculum at CEU Fernando III
360 ECTS credits over six years: 91.5 basic, 181.5 compulsory, 9 optional, 69 of external placements and 6 for the final project, with 1,665 hours of practice. It is taught in person, with year 1 in the afternoon.

The university has agreements with Vithas, San Juan de Dios (Bormujos and Nervión), Viamed Dos Hermanas and the Hospital de Fátima, and its own Simulation Hospital on campus, where students record their simulations and review them with their tutors.

Scholarships for Medicine at CEU Fernando III
For 2026/27 there were two Medicine programmes: 10 CEU Merit Medicine scholarships of 35% off tuition for first-years with an access mark of 9 or more (60% Bachillerato, 40% exam), and 6 Fundación Nemesio Díez scholarships of €12,900 on record and socioeconomic situation, with two interviews. The 2027/28 rules are not out; the new brochure notes that sitting the second test can raise your mark for the scholarships.

This is a young programme: Medicine launched only in 2025/2026, so there's no admissions track record yet to benchmark against.
The campus is in Bormujos, a suburb west of Seville, rather than the historic city centre, which is worth factoring into any housing plan.
