Key dates
- Recruitment opens

- Registration deadline
- Not yet published2027/28 not yet published; the 2026/27 cycle closed registration on 22 June 2026
- Entrance examination and interview
- Not yet published2027/28 not yet published; the 2026/27 cycle ran the examination and interview through to 9 July 2026. Its exam days for Medicine and Dentistry were 28 April, 7 May, 27 May, 10 June, 2 July and 7 July 2026, with further dates set individually, and 18 August 2026 in the supplementary round
- Qualification Test
- Not yet publishedCandidate-specific: the invitation with the test link arrives 1-2 days before your slot, and the interview follows straight after the test while you wait in a Zoom waiting room. In 2026/27 the list of initially qualified candidates was published on 10 July 2026, and the supplementary round's on 14 September 2026
- Enrolment deadline
- Not yet published2027/28 not yet published; in 2026/27 initially qualified candidates had to hand in their documents by 30 September 2026, a deadline Lublin extended to 7 October, the last day of that admission procedure
How it's scored
- Total points (Medicine, Medical Dentistry)
- 500: three subject scores of 100, the Qualification Test's 100, and the interview's 100
- Total points (Nursing, Midwifery)
- 400: two subjects instead of three, on the same component structure
- Maximum per subject
- 100 points, regardless of how many questions the subject contains
- Answer options
- Not yet publishedNot published on any official page checked. Every description repeats only that items are multiple-choice with exactly one correct answer. This is the single biggest unresolved fact about the paper's shape.
- Correct answer
- Not yet publishedNot published. Senate Resolution No. 56/2025 turns a subject's percentage result into its points (1% = 1 point) but does not say how a question is marked. IvyTest carries one mark per correct answer, scaled to the subject's 100, as the neutral assumption; a paper that does penalise guessing still ranks sensibly under a straight-percentage reading, whereas inventing a penalty would change what a candidate should do on every uncertain question.
- Incorrect answer
- Not yet publishedNot published; assessed as 0 on the same reasoning
- Unanswered question
- Not yet publishedNot published; assessed as 0 on the same reasoning
- Minimum eligible score
- 60% of each part: at least 180 of the 300 points for Biology and the two other subjects, 60 of 100 in the Qualification Test and 60 of 100 in the interview (Senate Resolution No. 56/2025, § 7 and § 9). In a supplementary round each minimum is 50%. A candidate below any one of them is listed as unclassified
- Per-subject floors
- No percentage floor per subject: the 60% applies to the three subjects together (180 of 300). A candidate who scores zero in a subject used for qualification is excluded
- Exemption route
- Candidates exempt from the subject examination sit only the Qualification Test and the interview; their subject points are replaced by points converted from secondary-school grades
- Interview
- 100 points of the 500, a fifth of the total, scored from a Zoom conversation

- Cost of living

- Scholarships
- No admission scholarship or tuition discount is published. The fees page lists the university's student support fund (social and disability scholarships, a rector's scholarship that first-year students can get only as competition winners or finalists, and one-off financial aid), and US citizens can use US federal student loans. Under Poland's Law on Higher Education and Science (Art. 324), a foreign student can get the social scholarship only in the groups it lists, such as permanent residents, Karta Polaka holders, refugees, holders of a C1 Polish certificate, spouses, parents or children of Polish citizens living in Poland, and EU, EEA, Swiss and UK citizens who work in Poland or have permanent residence there; a student in Poland only to study is not among them
- Admissions calendar
- The 2026/27 recruitment ran from 17 April to 7 October 2026, with a supplementary round from 13 July, later than most of its Polish peers
