The 2026 minimum scores for Medicine
The lowest competition score admitted to Medicine (English programme) on each 2026 ranking, as MU-Plovdiv published them on its admission page. They are observed figures for one year, not a prediction: each ranking's minimum depends on who applied that month and how many places were left.

How the competition score works
- Biology and Chemistry are taken online on the same day, 45 minutes each; applicants who do not hold an accepted English certificate also take the 40-point English Diagnostic Test.
- Each test's points convert to a grade from 2.00 (poor) to 6.00 (excellent). MU-Plovdiv does not publish how points become grades, so this calculator starts from the grades.
- The competition score for Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy is three times the Biology grade plus three times the Chemistry grade plus the English grade: at most 42.00, at least 21.00.
- A missing grade, or any grade below 3.00, means you are not included in the ranking, however high the other two are.
- A ranking follows each sitting from April to June, then two in September. How a certificate holder's English grade is counted is not stated in the Admission Guide.
